Connie is affectionately and infamously known as "Kevan's sister," and is quite happy with that honorarium. Like Kevan, she also is diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA).
In summer of 2020, Kevan asked Connie to join the We Carry Kevan team, to offer support and friendship to families with disabilities who are inspired by Kevan's story.

She taught English as a Second Language and served in international ministries for ten years. She loves to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds and hear their unique stories.
She enjoys drinking tea, eating ethnic food, and travelling the country. And if you ask her, she'll gladly share the tales of some of her own crazy adventures.
Director of Community Engagement
Tim is the founder of Break the Meta Ltd. where he works as a life and relationship consultant. When Tim was introduced to a young adult gathering in 2014, he discovered an unmet - and largely unacknowledged - need that he had for community. Through this community, he and his friends formed a street ministry which sought to reach out to homeless individuals, listen to their stories and with them build relationship. After marrying his wife Arianne in 2017, Tim led a young adult's group from their home in Winston-Salem, NC. He later left his job to pursue self-employment in the field of relationship consultation. Simultaneously, he co-founded Thought Raid: a podcast and gaming community. Tim was introduced to We Carry Kevan by Kevan's sister, Connie. He's an avid reader who loves stories and conversations that help him develop an understanding of why people do the things that they do.
He is currently in school for a BS in Psychology and plans to pursue a MA in Christian Counseling.
